About The Guitar Room
Since 2017, The Guitar Room has welcomed students of all ages and nationalities. We combine structured, professional teaching with a warm and intimate setting, offering the focus of a private lesson in a comfortable, personal environment.
Founder & Lead Guitar Instructor: Paco Jordi
Paco Jordi, founder of The Guitar Room, is a guitarist and teacher with more than 30 years of experience in both performance and education. He began studying classical guitar at the age of 11 and has been dedicated to teaching for over two decades, building a strong passion for music education along the way.
He studied at the Barcelona Municipal Conservatory of Music, where he trained in guitar, trombone, and composition, with Marcos Villanueva as his guitar teacher and Albert Llanas in composition. Alongside his classical studies, he has been actively performing, recording, and creating music with different bands and projects.
Over the years, his musical interests have expanded into improvisation, experimental music, and contemporary composition, which continue to influence both his artistic work and his teaching approach.
In 2017, he founded The Guitar Room with the aim of creating a space focused on personalised teaching, musical growth, and guidance adapted to each student. His approach focuses on helping students build solid technique and confidence while developing their own musical voice.
For him, the guitar is more than just an instrument — it is a way to explore, express, and connect more deeply with music. He places great value on the direct exchange with students, seeing each lesson as a shared learning experience.

Our Team
We are proud to have a team of talented teachers, all graduates of conservatories in classical or jazz guitar. They bring years of experience, along with the ability to work across a wide range of musical styles, adapting to the needs and goals of each student. Together, we ensure that every lesson at The Guitar Room is inspiring, personal, and enjoyable, while maintaining the spirit of The Guitar Room.
Our approach
At The Guitar Room, our teaching is personalized and flexible. Every student is unique, so we adapt each lesson to their age, experience, and goals.

- Build coordination, timing, and a solid instrumental technique

How We Teach
Classical Approach – Step By Step
Lessons follow a structured path using sheet music, allowing students to build skills progressively and develop a solid foundation. This approach is standard for children, and also suits adults who prefer a more guided method.
Adults & Busy Learners
We also offer a more intuitive and practical approach, using tablature, memory-based learning, and modern tools such as recording exercises on your phone.
We combine solid fundamentals with creative exploration, helping students improve while enjoying what they play.
This personalized approach applies to all instruments we teach: classical guitar, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, accompaniment, bass, and ukulele. Every lesson is tailored to each student’s style, interests, and musical goals.
